What should I do if I suspect someone is overdosing?

Call 911, administer naloxone if you have it, seek medical attention immediately, stay with the person, and monitor breathing and heart rate.

Can naloxone hurt someone that isn’t overdosing?

No, administering naloxone to someone that you believe is overdosing, but turns out not to be, will not harm them.
